What is PENMAC?
PENMAC stands for the Penticton Model Aviation Club; it is made up of members of all ages who share the interest of radio controlled Airplanes, Gliders and Helicopters.
What does this mean for you?
If you are interested in R/C aircraft, then there is no better place to start than by joining PENMAC. Our Club offers members with years of experience in the building and flying of R/C aircraft. They can assist you in selecting the best kit to get you started. We have members who are willing and able to give practical hands on flight instruction, anyone will tell you that can’t beat learning to fly R/C aircraft from a qualified instructor.
What can PENMAC offer to those that are experienced in R/C aircraft?
PENMAC offers you an opportunity to meet and share ideas with people who share your interest in R/C aircraft.
How do I join or find out more?
The club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every other month (except July & Aug.) At 7:30 p.m. at Hans On Auto Spa at 1320 Commercial Way, Penticton, B.C. or drop in at our
flying field most Saturdays, Sundays and some days during the week from 7:30AM, weather permitting. We encourage guest and prospective members to attend one of our meetings and come to the field to learn about PENMAC and the growing sport of R/C aircraft.
What is the cost of membership?
We make every attempt to keep our Club dues as low as possible; we have low rates $50.00 annually for members and a junior rate of $15.00 annually. Our dues are controlled by the cost of our flying field and its upkeep.
